Iterations ~ Interventions

More Love Letters

I have realised that the Love Letter format is on itself great for gathering feedback/ evidence from stakeholders. But it can also be interesting to explore and play with its possibilities beyond that.

• I asked specifically Gen Z Latam diaspora idividuals to participate in the Love Letter exercise.
• I got in touch with different Latam groups in the UK to spread the word, such us UAL Latinx Society and Directorio UK. I will be contacting more accounts / associations in the coming days.
• I also got in touch with Gen Z Cubans in the UK and Spain and asked them to refer my project to other people who could be interested.

• I am planning an exhibition in collaboration with other artists in which I would enact a performance again in which I give out this love letters to a Latam and non Latam audience. This will allow for representation and experience .
• I’m also planning a book, and I would like for the love letters to be part of it. The concept is for this book to be hybrid and partly collaborative. It mixes elements of poetry and visual culture , and is written in mixed Spanish and English. Although it is in big part auto-ethnographic, I wish to stablish a sense of community and familiarity, and I think including the Love Letters would make everything come together.
• I have gotten in touch with CSM tech lab and they are helping me making it as interesting of an experience as possible. I was told that I needed to do more research when it comes to the design of it.
• The main desire behind this project is to put together my personal work / collaboration into one thing, gather all of the confusion and externalise it into one form.
